Argo Shield Round 2 Review and Round 3 Preview:


Round 2 Highlights:


A fiery encounter between Juventus and FC Porto ended in a 1-1 draw, but Juventus triumphed 4-2 in a nerve-wracking penalty shootout.


Crystal Palace showed their mettle by holding Sporting CP to a goalless draw, eventually clinching the tie 3-1 on penalties.


Internazionale and Everton played out a tense 0-0 draw, but the Italian side edged out a 5-3 win in the subsequent penalty shootout.


Lille OSC managed a slender 1-0 victory over Atlético Madrid with a solitary goal from B. Diakité.


A thrilling encounter between Atalanta BC and Real Madrid saw a 2-2 stalemate, but Los Blancos outclassed their opponents 5-3 on penalties.


Liverpool, under the guidance of Giuseppe Trovato, put on a dominant performance, cruising to a 4-1 victory over FC RB Salzburg.


Manchester United survived a late onslaught from SS Lazio to secure a 2-1 victory, while Newcastle United bested Brentford 3-1 on penalties after a goalless draw.

Manchester City squeaked past SL Benfica with a late strike from F. Torres, securing a 1-0 win.


Brighton and Hove Albion overcame OGC Nice 3-1, while Paris Saint-Germain saw off AS Monaco in a 2-1 win.


Sir Simone Bayer Leverkusen couldn't find a breakthrough against SSC Napoli, who won 1-0, and Olympique Marseille displayed their prowess with a convincing 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.


The round concluded with AC Milan putting up a brilliant display, trouncing West Ham United 4-0.


Round 3 Preview:


A colossal encounter awaits as Real Madrid, having drawn their last match, go up against a red-hot Paris Saint-Germain side that boasts an impeccable winning streak.


Brighton and Hove Albion, fresh off a win, face the mighty Manchester City in what promises to be an engaging fixture.


In-form Juventus will be tested by Crystal Palace, who are proving to be giant-killers this season.


A rejuvenated AC Milan side will look to continue their momentum against the impressive RB Leipzig.


Olympique Marseille, after their emphatic win, take on a Newcastle United side looking to bounce back from a string of poor results.

Division 2 - Match Day 8

 Division 2 Matchday 8 brought forward a slew of captivating matches and unpredictable scores, solidifying the division's allure as a premier hub for thrilling football. Leading the charge, Crystal Palace showcased their dominance by defeating PSV with a brace from the legendary C.Ronaldo, who netted in the 33rd and 73rd minutes.
