Division One Preview

Kicking off with Division One, where Paris Saint-Germain is ruling the roost, unbeaten except for one hiccup. They're facing AC Milan, who, let's be honest, could really use a win after a string of losses. Arsenal and Barcelona are neck-and-neck, so their match is gonna be a thriller. Napoli’s having a rough patch, and up against Bayern München, that's not going to be easy. Manchester United and Tottenham, both a bit up and down, should make for an interesting match. And don’t miss Aston Villa vs REAL MADRID – both looking to turn those draws into wins.

Division Two Preview

Moving on to Division Two. Crystal Palace is flying high at the top, taking on Real Sociedad who's been a bit hit or miss. Brentford and AS Roma are both kind of in the middle, so that’s anyone’s game. Atalanta and Juventus? Now that's a match to watch – both solid teams. PSV and RB Leipzig are a bit of a wild card, could go either way. SL Benfica, on a winning streak, might just overpower Brighton. Everton and Monaco are both a bit shaky, so that’ll be a close one. Atlético Madrid and West Ham are battling it out in the middle, while Bayer Leverkusen and Feyenoord might just end in a draw, given their form.

Division Three Preview

And in Division Three, it's a mixed bag. RC Lens and Sevilla should be a tight match, both looking to climb up. RB Salzburg and Galatasaray are pretty evenly matched, so expect some fireworks. Ajax is leading the pack and facing FC Porto, who's not too far behind. Wolverhampton and Lille are both struggling – could be anyone’s game. VfL Wolfsburg and Sporting CP are both in a bit of a rut, so that's a crucial match for both. Villarreal and Lazio seem evenly matched, while Marseille, doing great, takes on OGC Nice, who are trying to find their form. Fiorentina and Rennes? That’s gonna be a close one.

Each division has its own drama unfolding – top dogs fighting to stay on top, mid-table scrambles, and those at the bottom looking for a much-needed boost. It's shaping up to be an exciting Match Day in the Argo league!

The tables and charts below are some stats I have put together from capturing each match and associated stats from the first seven (7) weeks of Division matches.  Plan to drop some more stats for Division 2 and for Division 1 over the next day or two. Division 2 - Match Day 8

 Division 2 Matchday 8 brought forward a slew of captivating matches and unpredictable scores, solidifying the division's allure as a premier hub for thrilling football. Leading the charge, Crystal Palace showcased their dominance by defeating PSV with a brace from the legendary C.Ronaldo, who netted in the 33rd and 73rd minutes. Atalanta BC displayed a commendable performance against SL Benfica, sealing a 3-0 victory. M. De Roon began the scoring, with S. Guirassy adding two more to the tally.
